On November 29, RDL returned to China, this time traveling to Beijing, Hefei, and Hangzhou, before heading home on December 5^th.  In Beijing, Dan visited Professor Cheng-Chu Zeng (Zeng) and was able to see Zeng’s beautiful new lab facilities.  Thereafter, Dan and Zeng were whisked to Hefei by high-speed train (speeds up to 305 km/h) … smooth as silk.  In Hefei (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hefei), Dan participated in the “4th Symposium on the Frontiers of Organic Chemistry in China”, sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China, delivering fours hours of lectures dealing with organic electrochemistry.
